March 13-14 Idaho QSO Party http://www.nx7tt.com/main page link/rules.htm 

March 16 Regular meeting--7:00 PM at Fairmont Jr High (2121 N Cole Rd, Boise) .  Change of venue.  Larry Smith (W7ZRQ) who is a prinipal engineer with Idaho Public Television and who also is responsible for maintaining our club's repeater, will talk to the club on the IPTV system.

This meeting is a good opportunity to invite others (hams or otherwise) to hear an interesting presentation

April 20  Regular meeting--7pm at Fairmont Jr. High School (2121 N. Cole Rd., Boise).                 Jim Hall will be giving his presentation on High Intensity LED'z.  Power requirements, controlling intensity, and even remote control.  I think he will be showing a practicle application as a bicycle headlamp tthat actually lights up the road ahead.. 

The J-pole antennas are ready for distribution.  $20 each.  Pick them up an Club meeting.

April 23, 24 &25  Idaho State Convention at the Airport Holiday Inn on Vista just south of the freeway.

May 18 Regular meeting  This will be the last meeting at Fairmont Jr. High Until the September meeting, Sept. 21.

June NO regular meeting on the June 15.  The June activity will be ARRL Field Day Saturday at Eagle Island State Park.

June 26  ARRL Field Day.  Location, Eagle Island State Park West of Eagle Idaho.  There is an entry fee of $5.00 per car.   Set-up will start about 9:30 AM.  We will be located at he East end of the parking lot.  Lots of trees to hang antennas.  We will have two stations in operation again.  One CW and one SSB voice.  We will also be monitoring 146.94 repeater   Probably will be using one of the new J-pole antennas for the VHF monitor radio.  And around 1:00PM there will be a POT-LUCK lunch.  Bring yourself and family and goodies to eat and have lot's of fun.

July  No meeting scheduled.  Might be a Field Trip to the Public TV transmitter site up on the hill.  Courtesy o f Larry Smith.  Time and Date yet to be determined.

August  No meeting.  Annual summeer Picnic Jointly with the QCWA group.  Don't know what QCWA MEANS?  That's Quarter Century Wireless Association.  Need to have been a ham for 25 years to be a member. Time and place to be announced.

September  Regular meeting.  Annual show and tell.  Bring that enteresting peice of equipment or some homebrew something, new construction kit or whatever your proud of and wish to show off.  Sorry Bill, No dancing girls on the schedule.

November  Regular meeting

December  No regular meeting.  Annual Christmas dinner (At Golden Corral???)

January  Irregular meeting.  Election of Club Officers  and other things.
